Top 3 Moisturizers For Body This Winter

In last weeks post, I talked about how to take care of your skin during this awfully cold season. It's best not to forget about the rest of your body since this is the time when we need it most. Here are my top 3 choices for body care:

Korres Body Butter

Truthfully, I love all Korres products. Created in Athens, the products are natural; making them suitable for even the most sensitive skins. From the feel to the scent, the products are incredible. There is a ton of variety when it comes to choosing one of the body butters, but not to worry - you really can't go wrong. Every product contains natural extracts such as shea butter, to help nourish dry, itchy skin. Each scent comes from its natural origin; therefore there is no perfume added. I feel confident using these products because they are super moisturizing and long lasting. If I apply the butter to my legs in the morning, they still feel silky smooth by the evening. Dry, flaky skin is instantly relieved after absorbing these wonderful creams. Paraben free.

Clarins Tonic Body Balm

This body balm is a wonderful, refreshing product. Not only will it keep your body moisturized, but it will also help to tone and firm the skin. Clarins products are plant based; using natural extracts and oils to help nourish the skin. The scent is very aromatic and calming. This balm feels luxurious and gives you the sensation of having a spa treatment from home. Some of the extracts include ginseng and apple seed oil. *Note: This product also comes in a bath gel and a body treatment oil.

La Roche Posay Lipikar Baume AP+

I wanted to include this balm for several reasons. Firstly, this product is targeted towards people who suffer from eczema. During the colder seasons it is common for skin flare-ups to worsen or become more severe. A good thing to note about this product is that it can be used on anyone; even infants. This is one of those products I like to inform people about because by looking at the packaging alone - it is super confusing. You really wouldn't understand what or who it is for. Even if you don't suffer from eczema but perhaps just have very dry itchy skin, you can very well use it! It is not medicated but rather extremely compensating. I have had clients come back and tell me that it has actually made their eczema go away! It may not be the hottest, most luxurious or best smelling cream but hey... it works!

Thanks for reading and stay tuned!
