Review: Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

In the beauty world, mascara is one of those things that is ever-changing. There is always something new coming out claiming to make lashes thicker, fuller and/or longer. Due to this reason, I will rarely take the time to review a mascara unless I feel it is a game changer. Behold, Benefit Roller Lash Mascara!

You may be familiar with Benefit's already iconic 'They're Real' Mascara; which makes you wonder, 'how does this compare?' I will definitely get to that but first let me start by saying that this brush is a completely new design. The slightly slanted applicator is small in size and can be compared to a comb. These tiny bristles work by hooking lashes, lifting and then curling them. What I like about this product is that the wand is much smaller than any other brush found in a Benefit mascara. This is what makes this particular mascara suitable for all types of lashes (small, short, you name it!) That being said, you will be at ease applying this bad boy to the tiniest of corners while working the product from base-to-tip.

Now, in comparison to 'They're Real,' you may find you will have to layer this product in order to achieve the same amount of volume. One of the common complaints about 'They're Real' is that the wand was too large and/or the product clumped. However, many people liked how dramatic it made their lashes from one application. By changing the brush and taking care of any clumping problems, Roller Lash applies easier yet not as thick. This really isn't a problem because unlike 'They're Real,' you can get away with applying numerous coats of Roller Lash without it becoming stiff or dry.

What else does it have to offer? A water-resistant, long wearing formula that will stay all day. The innovative comb-like brush truly lengthens lashes to a whole new level. It will leave your lashes looking lifted and curled for an overall wide-eyed look.
