Good afternoon beauty lovers! Now that summer is (almost) here, I'm finding that I am getting many people asking me how to control their oil this season. The truth is, our skin does change based on climate. It is very normal to experience excess oiliness during these hot summer months, but don't you worry! I am here and willing to share my ideas. I want to make it very clear that each of the products I talk about today can be used by both men and women. I find that some men are standoffish when it comes to applying a product on the face. Newsflash! None of these products are makeup. With that being said, let's jump right in!!!
1. Korres Pomegranate Mattifying Treatment
This is a product that I highly recommend for the person who wants a treatment rather than a quick fix. Not only will this product keep your skin matte, it will also help to fill in pores.
What it does:
This lightweight treatment immediately forms a breathable, oil-absorbing film to mattify skin and instantly fill in pores. Skin is left with a smooth, even surface texture. Antioxidant-rich pomegranate extract combines with willow bark extract and rice starch to help absorb excess oil for a shine-free finish. Paraben, sulfate and synthetic free.
How to use:
Once you have cleansed and moisturized your skin, this product can be applied on the full face, or in select areas such as the T-Zone that appear oily. Can be used as a primer.

If you don't want a product that you have to apply on the face, I would recommend these handy blotting papers. Perfect for on-the-go, these lightweight papers can absorb excess oil and then be tossed away!
What it does:
Eliminate excess sebum and shine for a fresh look and longer-lasting makeup application. This portable pouch of oil-absorbing, powder-coated sheets will leave skin refreshed and matte all day long. This product contains a powerful oil-absorbing ingredient, Hydroxyapatite, which provides the power to absorb sebum as well as lipid peroxide. Paraben and sulfate free.
How to use:
