Good afternoon my wonderful followers and friends! It's about that time that we talk about the importance of practicing safe sun. As you may have already read in my "Bronze Goddess" post, I am the daughter of a skin cancer survivor; so you can imagine how important it is for me to go forth and talk about the dangers of sun bathing without protection. Now, I totally understand the desire to have a luscious, bronze glow - however, it IS possible to achieve colour while using a sunscreen (despite whatever rumours you may have heard).
Today I will share with you some great sun care products that should be used anytime you venture out into the warm weather this season. Please note that the following products can be found at select Shoppers Drug Mart Beauty Boutiques. Now let's get started!

Why I love it: It is extremely hard to find a facial sunscreen that truly feels lightweight and ultra-smooth. With this product, I do not feel as if I am wearing a greasy mask. It absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving your face feeling moisturized, fresh and protected. This product does not leave any trace of white residue. *Apply after your daily moisturizer, before makeup.
For Body: Vichy Capital Soleil SPF 30 Invisible Mist
For: All skin types
Texture: Invisible, dry touch mist
About: Contains the #1 filter recommended by dermatologists: Mexoryl XL, with Parsol 1789 and octocrylene, a photostabilizer, ensuring broad spectrum protection from UVB rays, short and long UVA rays. For Kids: La Roche Posay SPF 45 Lotion
For: All children/infants over 6 months
Texture: Lightweight lotion

Why I love it: While I don't have children, I have heard just wonderful things about this product. The main reason why it is so popular is because it is safe to use on infants over 6 months. You don't come across many good quality sun products meant for little ones, so something such as this is very unique. Overall, a fabulous product; especially for kids that love to play around in and out of the water.
