Christmas Come Early!

Okay guys - it's officially November, which means I can now start talking about Christmas-time! Christmas always brings great memories, awesome food and limited edition makeup steals I can never pass up. Keep in mind, many of the items I will be featuring today came out in October, however; I thought I would be good this time around and stick it out until after the costumes and trick-or-treaters had their moment in the spotlight. Moving forward, I would like to show my readers the very best products that have made their way onto the shelves this year and ultimately onto my Christmas list.

In no particular order, here are my seasonal favourites for Christmas 2015! Enjoy.

Marc Jacobs Style Eye-Con No. 20 Plush Eyeshadow Palette

What?

A limited-edition eye palette with 20 eye shades for limitless day and evening looks.

Why?

It features 20 shimmery metallics, buttery mattes, and lustrous sheens, including 18 new shades, all expertly curated into five rows. The advanced pigments allow for true, instant colour payoff and long-lasting, plush comfort, and the oversized, shiny black palette comes with an infinity mirror for detailed application, even on the go. Truth is, these eyeshadows feel like pure silk and apply beautifully. A palette that is an absolute necessity this season.

Marc Jacobs "The Sofia" Five Piece Lipstick Set

What?

A gift-able collection of five deluxe-sized Le Marc Lip Crèmes inside a Marc Jacobs patent leather pouch.

Why?

These lipsticks saturate your lips in creamy, vibrant pigment with instant colour payoff. They’re formulated with concentrated colour-boost pigments that are triple-milled and enriched with hydrating ingredients—leaving lips with ultimate long-lasting colour and moisture. Lips are left plumped and nourished from powerful peptides, antioxidant-rich seaberry, and natural humectants—including meranti and cocoa butter. The Sofia features a curated range of bestselling reds, all wrapped in a patent leather pouch designed by Marc Jacobs. It is also to be noted that I am totally obsessed with these lipsticks in general. They feel amazing on the lips and last for hours! Whether you go with the set or decide to choose a shade suited for you; you simply can't miss out on these hydrating lipsticks during the colder months.

Urban Decay Vice4 Eyeshadow Palette

What?

A limited-edition palette packed with 20 gorgeous, never-before-seen shades, a huge mirror, a double-ended brush, and a chic bag.

Why?

These shades are filled with rich, deep jewel tones in a wide range of finishes—from velvety-smooth mattes and shimmering metallics to shades infused with micro-glitter. Each Eyeshadow in Vice4 is formulated with Urban Decay’s own Pigment Infusion System™, a proprietary blend of ingredients that deliver rich, velvety, blendable colour that lasts and sparkle that stays in place. I purchased the Vice3 palette last year and absolutely loved it. The shadows are insanely pigmented and apply ever so smoothly onto the skin. When I saw the shades available in the Vice4, I knew it would be something I would have to have this Christmas.

Clinique Sonic System Cleansing Brush Set

What?

A dermatologist-developed Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush in pink/orange with a matching travel case and three effective skincare products for dry skin types.

Why?

Use the dermatologist-developed Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush with 3-Step Skin Care and you will see purified pores, ultra-hydrated skin, and a healthy-looking glow. The oil-free, creamy Foaming Sonic Facial Soap helps bristles glide smoothly across face, gently removing dirt, excess oil, and impurities. The exfoliating Clarifying Lotion 2 whisks away pore-clogging oil and dryness to reveal a clearer complexion. And the lightweight Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ maintains optimal moisture balance for skin that’s soft, comfortable, and hydrated. In a limited-edition pink/orange colour combo with a matching travel case, skin will stay clear and refreshed while on the go. Even if you tend to have a combination skin, it is important to note that our skin type changes with the season - which is why I have chosen to feature skin care that promotes a hydrated skin as we all experience dryness and dehydration in the cold weather. I would also like to comment on what makes this brush a little different compared to its competition. As a Clarisonic user myself, I sometimes find that no matter what brush head I'm using, the bristles feel rough on my face which gives me general discomfort/redness. The Clinique brush system is much gentler, making it safe to use for the most sensitive skins.
